Reasons for account deletion

Users may request deletion of their Easy Ride account at any time through the application settings or by contacting customer support. Upon submitting an account deletion request, access to the platform and associated services may be restricted or permanently removed. Certain information, including transaction history, ride records, or data required for legal, regulatory, fraud prevention, or operational purposes, may be retained for a limited period in accordance with applicable laws and company policies. Account deletion is irreversible, and users are advised to ensure that any pending rides, payments, or account-related activities are completed prior to submitting the request.

What happens to your information

When a customer requests deletion of their Easy Ride account, the account is first placed into a temporary deactivation state for a grace period of 30 days in accordance with GDPR compliance and internal data retention policies. During this period, the user may contact support to restore access to the account if the deletion request was made unintentionally.

Once the 30-day grace period has expired, the account and associated personal information are permanently deleted from our active systems. Certain records such as transaction history, ride records, invoices, or data required for legal, fraud prevention, taxation, security, or regulatory purposes may be securely retained for a limited period as permitted or required under applicable laws.

Prerequisites for account deletion

No, customers are not required to complete any manual actions before requesting account deletion. The Easy Ride platform is designed to automatically manage and process any applicable account-related activities as part of the deletion workflow.

If there are ongoing rides, scheduled bookings, pending transactions, or active services associated with the account, the system may automatically handle, cancel, or restrict certain functionalities as necessary before completing the deletion request. Customers will be notified accordingly where applicable.

Account recovery options

If a customer requests account deletion, the account will first enter a temporary deactivation period of 30 days. During this grace period, customers may contact the Easy Ride support team to request account recovery or restoration.

Once the recovery request is verified, access to the account may be reinstated along with associated profile information and preferences where technically feasible. After the 30-day grace period expires, the account and related personal information may be permanently deleted from active systems, and account recovery may no longer be possible.
